Wind Media Co, formerly Nate Wind Creative, began in a small sublet apartment on 16th Street in Brooklyn, NY. At the time, I was simply figuring it out as I went. My first paid gig was lit entirely with construction lights and filmed in a shed on Long Island.
The work and processes have come a long way since those days. Through the years, I’ve built out an arsenal of, not only proper gear, but the knowledge that only time & experience can provide.
These days, Wind Media Co is a full-service video production & photography company located in South Portland, Maine that helps brands of all sizes stand out in an ever-changing online landscape, through carefully crafted media. My team and I continue to put in the work to give our clients the best experience and return on their investment we possibly can.
Since its founding, the goal of WMC has remained largely the same: to create media that breeds results.

hi, I’m Nate!
I started Wind Media Co. in 2015 from a small sublet apartment in New York City, creating marketing videos for nonprofits, musicians, and authors. After six years and a lot of great projects, I was ready for a new chapter.
In 2021, I decided to make my home in Portland, Maine, where I now work with small businesses and nonprofits to create thoughtful videos and photos that help them connect with the right people and move their work forward.
When I’m not behind the camera, you can usually find me at a concert, on a hike, or cooking up a good meal at home.
