about the project
Los Angeles-based Coaching platform, DueCourse brought me on to film their day at the National Association for Law Placement (NALP) Conference in Boston, MA. Their social media marketing manager, Maurisa, reached out looking for a local videographer with stregths in interpersonal skills, thinking in their feet, interviewing on the fly, and finding the story & important moments of a day while the story is still evolving.
After a breif meeting, I was hired and met the team via video chat, where I led the pre-production & logistics planning, and we talked about their goals for this footage.
The shoot day was a 10 hour day full of off-the-cuff interviews, b-roll catpure, and a silent disco DJ set at the end of the day (led by DueCourse’s CEO).
The day was a success, thanks to the time spent in pre-production and the flexibility of everyone involved.
